Hogan's Bar is one of the trendiest bars in the city centre and it's not difficult to see why. Two spacious floors accommodate groups of prosperous twenty-something and the mood are understandably upbeat. The ground-floor is quite elegant in the daytime when you can appreciate the beautiful wood-carved bar, but at weekend nights you'll be too busy trying to exert a pull on the barman's attention to notice the decoration. Hogan's is also the place for a late pint: it stays open until 2.30am at weekends.
